Privacy Notice

• Account data — email address, username, hashed password, account creation and sign-in timestamps.
• Content data — books, chapters, widgets, uploaded images and files you create or store.
• Billing data — plan, subscription status, trial and renewal dates, receipts. Card details are collected and held by Paddle, never by us.
• Usage data — storage consumed, AI token and reply counts, feature events, error logs.
• Technical data — IP address, browser and device information, and cookies strictly needed for sign-in and security.

• To provide the editor, cloud storage, AI assistant and exports — performance of a contract.
• To take payment, enforce plan quotas and send receipts — performance of a contract and legal obligation.
• To send service and security emails — performance of a contract; product news only with your consent.
• To prevent abuse, debug faults and keep the service secure — legitimate interests.

When you use the AI assistant, the text you send and the relevant chapter or widget content are transmitted to our AI model provider to generate a response. We do not use your content to train models, and we do not sell it. Avoid pasting sensitive personal data into AI prompts.

• Paddle.com Market Ltd — Merchant of Record: checkout, payments, invoicing, tax and fraud checks.
• Cloud hosting and database provider — application hosting, authentication and storage of your content.
• AI model provider — processes assistant prompts and returns generated content.
• Email delivery provider — sends auth, receipt and support emails from notify.alzoabitech.com.

We never sell personal data or share it for advertising. Transfers outside your country rely on standard contractual clauses where applicable.

Account and content data are kept while your account is active, and for up to 30 days after deletion so you can recover work. Billing records are retained for up to 7 years where tax law requires. Technical logs are kept up to 90 days.

You can request access, correction, deletion, a copy of your data in portable form, restriction of processing, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. You can withdraw marketing consent at any time. Email info@alzoabitech.com and we will respond within 30 days. If you are in the EEA or UK you may also complain to your local data protection authority.

Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest, access is protected by authentication and row-level database policies, passwords are stored hashed, and administrative access is restricted. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password.

AZ Ink is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their data.
