Terms & Conditions
Last updated 24 August 2026
These terms govern your use of AZ Ink, an interactive ebook authoring studio operated by Adam El Zoobi, an individual seller based in Lebanon ("we", "us"). By creating an account or purchasing a subscription you agree to these terms.
1. The service
AZ Ink lets you author books and chapters, build interactive HTML/CSS/JS widgets and mini games, store projects in the cloud, use an AI writing assistant, and export to EPUB, HTML and a Windows desktop build. Features available to you depend on your active plan.
2. Accounts
You must provide an accurate email address and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. Accounts are for a single user unless you hold an Organization plan with agreed seats.
3. Subscriptions, billing and Merchant of Record
Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance. Where a free trial is offered, the first charge occurs at the end of the trial unless you cancel before it ends. Prices are shown on the pricing page and may change with notice for future billing periods.
Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all purchases. Paddle handles checkout, payment processing, invoicing, subscription management and applicable sales tax/VAT. Your order is also subject to Paddle's buyer terms.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- upload or publish unlawful, infringing, hateful or sexually exploitative content;
- use the AI assistant to generate malware, spam, or content that violates third-party rights;
- attempt to bypass plan limits, quotas, licence checks or authentication;
- resell, sublicense or redistribute the software or your account access;
- probe, scan, overload or reverse engineer the service or its infrastructure.
5. Your content
You keep all rights to the books, chapters, widgets and assets you create. You grant us a limited licence to store, process and display that content solely to operate the service. You are responsible for holding the rights to anything you upload.
6. Quotas and fair use
Each plan includes a storage allowance and a monthly AI token allowance. When an allowance is reached, the related feature pauses until the next billing period or until you upgrade. We may apply reasonable rate limits to protect the service.
7. Suspension and termination
You can cancel at any time from your account; access to paid features continues until the end of the paid period. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms, fails payment, or creates legal or security risk. For material breach we may suspend immediately; otherwise we will give notice and a chance to fix the issue. On termination you may export your content for 30 days, after which it may be deleted.
8. Availability, warranty and liability
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost data or profits. Keep your own backups of important work.
9. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms; material changes will be announced by email or in-app before they apply. These terms are governed by the laws of Lebanon, without prejudice to consumer rights you may have in your country of residence.
